02.04.03 I remember the punchline now. But it's stupid & I told the joke wrong anyways. And oh yeah, My speech was fucking horrible. As I neared the midpoint of the speech, I realized that the remainder of my notecards were in my purse next to my desk. Rather than look even stupider than I already did, I chose to end the speech right there in the middle. I ended it with kinda-joke and everyone laughed, so I don't think they noticed that I cut myself off in the middle. My teacher may not have noticed? I sure to hell hope not. |
